Ubragg Completes the Five-Peat!

Congratulations ubragg on fighting off Mr C for your fifth consecutive PCS championship. Count 'em: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (<-the fifth refers to this one, so a link seems unnecessary). After ubragg and Mr C came Steve K, Jason, and Quad. Here's how the entire standings shook (shaked?) out:

and I did the near-impossible by not scoring any points!

Congrats ubragg, you have an impressive brain

In 4 of ubragg's 5 championships, Mr C finished 2nd. The only exception was the last 3rd of PCS Season II, in which he finished...seventh??

What's up with that, C-Dogg??

Congratulations, UB! Well played. You know in European Champions League play, when a team wins the cup (Old Jug Ears) 5 times, they get to keep it.

This is my best finish ever, and I didn't even solve one puzzle.

Next year I'm gunning for the T-10 first slot, not the third one.

Thanks guys, it has been a blast! Great charge at the end this season, MC, I was starting to sweat it a bit. And I'm also worried about BCCSweet next year - he can be dangerous if and when he remembers to drop in and solve the puzzle. Look at all those victories in the second half.

For this next week I'm putting all my brainpower towards us having the (presumably) unprecedented Double Triple Crown for MK and CK. Nice to have something to cheer for down the stretch in an otherwise disappointing season.

I'm taking the positive side of things down the stretch, too, UB. Fantastic stuff watching these guys continue to compete night in and night out. (cc: Russ Martin, Andre Ethier)

sorry-ass, punk-ass, shit-ass Cubs just gagged one to the Cards. Leading 1-0 going to the night they (Marmol) gave up a single, stolen base, throwing error, walk, walk, walk, wild pitch to lose 2-1. Braves lost to the Nats so the Cards are just 2 back of the Braves, VaGiants 4.5 back, Dodgers are 9 back

Thx for that update, FB. Trying to calibrate where to focus my hate.

Congrats, Ubragg! You're a puzzle lord of the highest order.

In other news, Russell Martin is sooooooo losing his job to Jesus Montero next year (if not sooner).

Congrats UBragg. Your brain amazes me!

Congratulations, champ. I'll be right here next year to keep you on your toes.

@EK

I think I got sabotaged by work that season. I DID win the first third. The rest of these guys aren't exactly slackers, either.

Congrats, Ubragg!

And congrats to SOSG for creating some great puzzles! This was a ton of fun.
