DIAMONDBACKS 7, DODGERS 6 (10)
It was tied 1-1 going into extra innings when the Dodgers blew it wide open: an A.J. Ellis triple capped a five-run inning and the Dodgers were cruising 6-1 heading into the bottom of the tenth. Then something terrible — dare I say Broxtonesque? — happened:
It wouldn't be a Dodger season without a meltdown, no?

This is pretty messed up.

The Dodgers went from 100 to 0 in one Blake Hawksworth heartbeat.
It's like a Ferrari in reverse
watching highlights of Russel Martin hitting into an around-the-horn triple play with the bases loaded has soothed some of this pain
Let's win tonight. I don't want the season to end with this taste in my mouth. We've come too far to leave with a shitty door prize

It feels like hot lava running down my legs...
I stopped watching when we were up 1-0 to do some stuff around the house. Then I check twitter and see that it went to extras. Saw we went up 2-1 in the 10th. Then twitter says we lost 7-6 in the 10th. I had to check multiple sites online to believe what I was reading. Insane.
I went to bed ASSUMING that we won (up 6-2 at that point.)
Boy was I wrong.
I was following on Gameday, since we were catching up on Tuesday TV. I had no idea until today that Hawk failed to cover first on a routine grounder. WTF, man? (And your sister's not even all that hot.)
@Josh S: I agree with the WTF, but I will say that Erin has a couple of things going for her.
