The Pirates game was definitely a series win. It was the 4th game of a series in which the Dodgers had already won 2 of 3.

You can't really pick apart strategy in an all but lost season, but MAYBE you yank Hawk after Ethier had to bail him out.

All the rage on Dodger Talk is Mattingly's annoying use of the bunt to move runners over with Kemp on deck. The funniest part was most of the callers were protesting Loney as the one bunting. Seems the honks on DT feel Loney has earned his way back into Sluggerville.
They did have a point about Kemp attracting more and more IBB's because of the infernal bunting.
