COMMENTS: For a last-place team, those Nats sure are pesky — the Dodgers are now 1-3 on the season against them. Must be karmic retribution for the Dodgers' ultra-rare regular-season sweep of the Cards earlier this year.
Kuroda was ineffective his last time out, and he'll have extra pressure to perform given the latest losses charged to Clayton Kershaw and Chad Billingsley. At least Padilla and Lilly are coming off hot games.
There is some hope, however. Hernandez is 9-15 with a 4.86 ERA and a 1.530 WHIP lifetime against the Dodgers. And the Dodgers have scored at least three runs in half of their games in August. Okay, that one's a reach — but so is anything good coming out of this season.

The OC Ragister had a comment that Dunn's homers yesterday were a big FU to the Dodgers for putting in a waivers claim on him and preventing a trade to another contender.
I could've lived with Adam Dunn at first base a couple of years back.
