It still huuuuuuuurts.
Mutts released AC.
Thank God they have a real team like the Yankees on FOX today instead if this scrub Dodgers.
^those
I'm out of beer.
+3 on the surly factor.
Reason #4032 of why I hate Tim McCarver: His needless attempt at finding symmetry in different games.
"Yesterday, with two out, David Ortiz hit a home run in the first inning, and today, Victor Martinez leads of the second with a homer."
HOW THE FUCKING HELL ARE THE TWO CONNECTED?!?!
MRLASF: but they were done only 1 out apart!!!!
I have an well-established loved for symmetry, but you're right. McCarver can come up with the most inane comparisons that have no bearing on the current game or game situation. I wish Berkman would bash a line drive right into McCarver's temple.
McCarver also drives me batshit talking about a catcher framing a pitch.
Wait...now he's talking about shadows - who knew? Gotta turn the channel now.*
*For you kiddos, that means using the remote to change the channel; in the old days, one actually had to turn a dial on the TV. ON the TV!
Anyone else heading out to the Yard tonight?
Not I, said the clown. Quiet weekend at home with the grill.
You may see my smoke signals from the Stadium.
Grills, grills, grills!
Haha! Grrrrrrl power!
I feel honored, my very first mention on the page!
