It's not like the campers over in Assassin's Circle are very action-oriented today. So to help us "kill" the afternoon, might I suggest keeping an eye on San Diego @ Chicago Cubs, which just started? Clayton Richard vs. Casey Coleman, with the latter having just loaded the bases with one out in the top of the first. Come on, Cubbies.

With a bit of a slow patch at work, I'm taking time in between projects to start "Operation: Read SoSG From the Very Beginning."
I figure I have about 2 3/4 years of posts to get through before I hit the time where I started hanging here regularly. This should be interesting.
Josh, I'd be interested in doing the same thing. Do you have some sort of study guide or workbook? Should we start a study group?
Are you reading the posts and/or the GTs?
I'm reading everything, including comments (though, admittedly, at a fast clip).
There are some ghosts in dem GT's
That IS a noble endeavor. I think I de-lurked sometime in '08, but didn't join the peanut gallery until last May-ish.
I love the concept of de-lurking. Not here but it's just a funny concept.
I'm up to the Manny to the Dodgers trade talk from November of '06. Funny stuff in hindsight.
Still no comments from any non-Sons. There was an Anonymous who commented, but I'm betting it was a Son who forgot to log in.
"Jonathan Broxton may also be trade bait if Yhency Brazoban's return looks likely."
A hoot, I tells ya.
Ah, the fleeting Ghame Over years.
@Josh S: I want to forwarn you that the writing gets increasingly worse each year. But at least you can read all of Pedro and Lasorda's many contributions!
Another gem (I swear I'm not going to do this all day):
"Well, if Vincent[sic] Padilla is now an $11MM/yr pitcher for the Rangers, then +/- $15MM/yr for Schmitty looks like a bargain to me."
Have you reached the Abes v Babes Gilded Age yet, Josh?
"SoSG Reading Club"
Comments here prove we are starting to get more interested in SoSG than actual baseball :)
Not quite yet. The '06-'07 offseason news is proving difficult to get through.
@karina
Say a lot about the season, doesn't it?
^"Says"
@Mr C sadly.
btw,I'm posting the lineup today
So noted.
Noted and anticipated, Karina.
It will probably only take 5 or 6 minutes to review Pedro and Lasorda's contributions.
Oh no he di-unt!
Ah, funny.
Quick trip in the way-back machine places my probable first comment here in Sept. 08.
On a PCS puzzle.
