COMMENTS: I'm not gonna lie — it's kinda bleak in Dodgertown right now. The Boys in Blue have reversed their kick-only-NL West-ass policy, and the organization just traded a big bunch of young guys for a smaller bunch of older guys.
On the bright side — and there's always a bright side, even if you have to look under the table to find it — Chadley proved himself a warrior yesterday and Kershaw is back from his suspension today...right in time to face the team he was pitching against when he got suspended. How meta!
Somehow, Cain has never beaten the Dodgers in 14 tries, which is pretty amazing if you think about it. (Go ahead, I'll give you a second.) Today would be a great day for that streak to continue, if only as a nice welcome to Messrs. Lilly, Theriot and Dotel.
