Dodgers start Randy Wolf, LHP (9-6, 4.33) vs. Kyle Davies, RHP (3-7, 5.42).
Dodgers: 47-36 (2nd place NL West, 1.0 GB, W2)
Braves: 43-40 (2nd place NL East, 4.0 GB, L2)
From Dodgers.com, the scouting report on the starters:
Dodgers: Wolf walked six in six-plus innings and three of those walks scored, but with nine runs of support, Wolf was easily able to out pitch the "other" left-handed Randy, Arizona's Johnson, for his ninth victory. Wolf allowed the leadoff hitter to reach base five times, but he escaped most of the jams and two of the runs charged to him scored on hits off relievers. Wolf is 4-9 lifetime against the Braves.Braves: Davies came close to matching Tigers starter Justin Verlander in his last outing, but he still took the loss in one of his best starts of the season. Davies allowed two runs and three hits -- a season best -- before exiting with an injury with one out in the top of the seventh. He didn't pick up his first win since June 1, however, because Verlander was a tick better. Davies' six strikeouts were his most since he struck out eight in his first start of the season and one more than his previous two starts combined. His low-90s fastball was his best pitch, often hitting the corners and using it to set up his offspeed stuff.

Is it too much to ask for a 1-2-3 first inning from Wolf?
6-6 by the 3rd inning. Wolf knocked out after 3.
D.J. Houlton 3 scoreless innings so far. Nice.
FLA beating SD as well. . .
Kent on 3d, Kemp coming up to bat - - time to make the legend grow!
Kemp singles in the go-ahead run. Matt Kemp is God!
Kemp gets the hit, but Loney makes the defensive plays in the eighth!
Steiner is drooling over Loney's glove.
I am very uncomfortable.
Where's damon tonight?
