Dodgers start Chad Billingsley, RHP (5-0, 3.44) vs. Dontrelle Willis, LHP (7-7, 4.65).
Dodgers: 48-38 (2nd place NL West, 1.0 GB, L2)
Marlins: 40-46 (4th place NL East, 8.0 GB, W1)
From Dodgers.com, the scouting report on the starters:
Dodgers: In his third start as Jason Schmidt's replacement, Billingsley stepped up to prevent a series sweep by the Padres with the kind of start the Dodgers were expecting from Schmidt. Billingsley threw seven scoreless innings and allowed three singles, retiring the final 16 batters he faced. He was efficient with his pitches, not issuing a walk, and struck out a career-high-tying nine. It was a critical effort for the back end of the rotation in the wake of Hong-Chih Kuo's demotion.Marlins: Willis is coming off a no-decision against Atlanta. He tossed four scoreless innings but was lifted after a long rain delay. Willis has thrown 108 1/3 innings and struck out 74, while walking 47.

Hey where is everyone? Rudy just struck out a Marlin with a man on first and third to get out of the inning. Holton looked pretty shaky. We need to get through a couple of more innings!
