Random rantings and ravings about the Los Angeles Dodgers, written by a small consortium of rabid Dodger fans. With occasional comments on baseball, entertainment, pop culture, and life in general.
Among National League first basemen with 200+ ABs (11 total), James Loney ranks tied for last in XBH, with 15. (Expanding this to the whole MLB and Loney is tied for 19th out of 22.) Stats as of Monday June 25.
Also, no sac flies and only 3.75 pitches per plate appearance (that seems high, actually).Well, uh, he hasn't been hit by a pitch!
A Uribe post followed by a Loney post. That isn't cool.
Wow, who's worse?!
I don't know what Loney you are all watching. Loney has the best BB/K of his career this year! He's on pace for FOUR home runs! And he's only 28 years old. Ned needs to wrap him up in a multi-year deal before it is too late!
