Aaron Harang (3-3, 4.14) vs. Juan Nicasio (2-2, 5.11).
The wheels are definitely off the bus. Earlier this week, we were wondering if the Dodgers would ever lose three in a row. Now, they're in danger of doubling that streak.
Looking to break the downward spiral is the guy who (unknowingly) started it all, Harang, who gave up three runs in five innings Monday, with only one of them being earned due to a questionable call. MLB.com's capsule review of Nicasio gives a glimmer of hope: "[Nicasio's] command of his fastball and secondary pitches is still inconsistent." Hrmph. I'll tell you what else is inconsistent: the Dodgers' defense, which gave up four errors in yesterday's loss.
We Sons are pulling out some stops for this one, changing the GT post time to address superstition. Cross your fingers. And go find a jack for me, will you? (No, not you, Ned.)
