The Dodgers were down 5-0 through three frames and it was looking bleak, not just for Chad Billingsley (who only lasted 4.0 IP and gave up all five runs, 3 ER, with 3 BB and 3 Ks in the no-decision), but for the Dodgers, winners of four in a row. Barndon Beachy of the Braves was coasting...
....and then, the suddenly plucky Dodgers rallied, scoring two in the fourth off a Juan Rivera bases-loaded single, then one in the sixth off another Rivera single, before blowing it open with five in the seventh on a ten-batter inning. The Dodgers in the seventh beat Arodys Vizcaino to a bloody pulp (0.1 IP, 4 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 1 K), and if not for Rod Barajas (who accounted for all three outs in the inning, striking out to open it and GIDPing to close it), the Dodgers would still be out there, scoring runs. Credit James Loney for a bases-clearing double to right, an IBB to Matt Kemp and an Andre Ethier single that scored Loney and Kemp for the high five (runs).
Oh, and credit Justin Sellers and Dee Gordon for turning a sweet double play in th ebottom of the seventh inning. Highlight is here since mlb.com won't let me embed it.
And while you're at it, credit all you guys for a spontaneous INXS-themed GameThread. Cool. Now someone get that rope untied from around Josh S.' neck. (And put some clothes on him, for pete's sake!)

362 badges tonight, still with some games in progress
SF now up 6-2 in the bottom of the seventh and they're still batting. AZ looks like they're going to fall to five games up
My father stormed the beach at Normandy!
That's pretty cool, Dusty
Giants are three outs away from a victory here. Unfortunately I'm close enough to the stadium that I might have to hear it...
Not true, Sax. I was just quoting Teddy from STAND BY ME.
All your fathers are going to get a call from me.
Except for the looney. The looney up in Tokus.
Spanky, sic balls!
updated the font to embed...the link to the sellers/gordon video highlight. wow.
giants beat the snakes. sigh.
Lost Angels of Katella are getting they asses kicked tonight, at least.
My Randy Wells pogbadge look like Russell Martin with a beard.
Giants didn't get the memo about our master plan to catch them.
Dickbags.
.339 with runners on and .571 with bases loaded. Someone just alerted me to this stat for Matt Kemp, MVP!!! Take that for the so called "pressure" sportswriters.
363 badges at end of day.
I just spent the better part of 2 hours plunking every Giants batter that came to the plate in MLB The Show 11. Sure, I lost 59-4, but I also injured Timmah, so it's a wash.
The game ejects your pitcher after 3 or 4 hbps. I ended up getting all pitchers but Lilly ejected. When you're down to the last guy, he doesn't get ejected, but the commentators keep calling him names.
36 badges, I was on a monster tear after two days. I have slowed down a bit. 36 badges three days of work (missed a day at work), I should catch sax in 30.1666667. I used to hate those repeating 6's.
