That certainly sounded like an interesting play at the plate.

We're winning, and nobody (but Josh) cares.
I care
...ish.
Walking in a run is... not good.
I'm here! 3-3 in the fifth as Jon Link gives up two runs. Can Scott Elbert get out of a bases-loaded jam?
Yes. 3-3 going to the bottom of the fifth.
In lotsa meetings so far today...
Kapler's left 2 on... sadness in Hammock Nation.
Loney, 2-for-2 with a run scored
Castro, 1-for-1 with a 3-run HR
AJ can be a hero... kinda
Holy shit, am I reading this correctly? Elbert has one strike in 13 pitches?
Uhm...
yeah
(sigh)
it got worse
Elbert sees five batters and walks four of them. I mean, it's not Andy Sonnanstine levels, but still...
That was a pretty terrible outing, even from a spring standpoint.
At least we know where he is this time.
This could be going better.
one out, two on...and XP Ks...
(Xavier Paul Kd on three straight pitches btw)
bunch of new posts since this one went up, gents...
Justin Sellers, ladies and gentlemen!
(ties the game on a single to left that went off 3B Pedro Feliz' glove)
Pink Panther strikes!
(dumb nickname, I know)
Miles flies. 5-5 going to the seventh.
toyals back in front, 6-5
three-run HR by Kila Ka'aihue and it's 9-5 Royals.
We are losing to the ROYALS for pete's sake.
(cries)
What? 9-5 in the time it took me to walk down the hall from a meeting?
They're pissed we stole their uniforms.
Vasquez with a 33.75 ERA
Ouch. I could d/l'ing porn with this bandwidth instead.
Let's look on the bright side.....mmmm Okay, let's not.
11-5 on another home run
WE SUCK
Nah, just a bad day.
Well, Elbert sucks, at least.
Today, we suck. We'll worry about tomorrow tomorrow.
That's all she wrote! An 11-5 defeat to the Royals, thanks to six runs given up in the last two frames. Yay!
To be fair, nobody with even an outside chance of making the opening day roster gave up a run.
And that's kinda the way it's been.
The problem is, no one who's going to make the team drove in a run either.
...or rather, allowed an earned run. Monster did kinda leave the gate open.
So glad it's only spring. What about this Sands kid?
