Suchon and Block calling the game, but the volume is reeeeaaaalllly low.

Or, my speakers were turned down. Whatever.

Josh S. said...

Shit. Garland's hurt.

Steve Sax said...

oh no, Garland must be hurt if he's coming out in the second inning with two out

Steve Sax said...

tron almost lets the M's leave the yard on his first pitch...but the Monkeyman gets the third out at the wall.

Steve Sax said...

1-0 M's. Mariners scored in the first when Ichiro reached on an error, took third on a Chone Figgins single, and scored on a Barajas PB.

Steve Sax said...

we just got three outs in the bottom of the second inning--ON THREE PITCHES.

Way to be patient, Loney (ground out), Uribe (fly out), and Gibbons (fly out).

Shit. We suck.

BaraHOSS!

Josh S. said...

Rod's homer followed by more suck.

It doesn't matter what the question is

Seattle 8, Dodgers lost at sea

Just turned on the game. Watched Thames bobble a catchable ball in left and this dude Huber give up a no doubt about it grand slam. I don't think Huber is making the club thus year. Sigh.

(Huber gave up a grand salami, saw seven batters and got one out)

Huber faces 7 and 6 reached base. Suchon saying garland has a rib injury. Sigh #2.

Steve Sax said...

@Pistol Pete: You may be shaking your fist, but it's too bad we couldn't shake the Fister

Alex Cora said...

@Sax re MLB At Bat app:

In related news, I just saw that Apple TV will now allow streaming to MLB.TV subscribers. I read that this morning; stopping by the Old Pasadena Aolle Store tonight on the way home to get one. Fuck to the yeah!

BTW I saw you used the phrase "rocked the house." man I loved that phrase back in the day, and still do. Thx for dusting it off.
