Scoreboard Watching: Sept 15 NL West Game of Note

Holy smokes, there's an early game going on in Denver, as the Padres look for the sweep against the Rockies. Clayton Richard is pitching against Jorge De La Rosa and it's already 1-0 Rockies in the bottom of the second. Let's go, Padres!

Yorvit solo HR ties it at one.

Shit, Rox cone right back for four runs, it's 5-1 Rox and we're not out of the third inning

Richard can't get out of the third inning

Wait, who am I supposed to hate today?

Just paid 12.99 so I could scoreboard watch en route home.

I'm rooting for the Padres, since it hurts the Giants more. Right?

I think that's the proper channel for the hate. Feel the hate, brother! hate Hate HATE!!!

5-2 now.

I want Spanky to plunk someone. Anyone.

I agree with Sax. At this point, any team in the NL West but the evil Giants.

The less the Rockies play, the more likely CarGo plays here in December.

@Karina

Can we call him "Men at Work" after the 80s band who had an album, "Cargo"? Just checkin'.

6-2. Slipping away.

Yeah, I don't see this happening. We'll likely have to break our habit of 1 Win - 2 Losses to spoil the Jints fun tonight.

Though, this is in Denver, so nothing is impossible.

9-2. Going, going, gone.

9-2 Rox now. I find it so hard to root for the Padres but Karina is right, the real evil here lies in Frisco.

FRISCO FRISCO FRISCO

I love saying that because San Franciscans hate when people refer to San Francisco as Frisco.

FRISCO FRISCO FRISCO
FRISCO FRISCO FRISCO
FRISCO FRISCO FRISCO

@DB
There is a Frisco, Texas which is probably reason enough for San Franciscans to hate being called that.

9-6 of an A-Gon three-run HR.

The Padres can't possibly pull this off, right?

Eighth inning...

K with the rancho ardiendo to end the eighth. 9-6 Rox, on to the top of the ninth and the last chance for SD

Pods lose. Now it's up to us tonight.

It's up to us? Scary thought.
It's margarita time with friends to help brace myself for whatever comes our way tonight.

GO BLUE!

Just found out my car radio picks up 1090 from San Diego so I can listen to Pods games.

After the season I'll need a dozen showers to wash this rooting for the Padres stink off.
