The Padres are two back of the Giants in the NL West, with five games left to play, and they send recently-returned-from-the-DL Chris Young (1-0, 1.20) vs. Randy Wells (8-13, 4.28). Good luck with that.
The Giants on the other hand send Timmah Lincecum (15-10, 3.51) against Ian Kennedy (9-9, 3.76). San Francisco plays all of the rest of its games at home, including the season-ending series against the Padres.
(cries)
UPDATE 7:24p: Mr F graded me poorly on this Scoreboard Watching post because I didn't mention the Padres play the Cubs and the Giants play the Snakes. I suppose he has a point.

cmon Padres, you can do it!
I give this post by Sax a C-. It doesn't even show what teams the Padres and Giants are playing!!!
D-bags with the early lead on Timmah.
Timmah, wash your hair!

timmy is missing his spots.
@Mr F 5:50p: Edited.

How we doin', boys and girls?
@Mr C - Well, as you can see from the above post, Sax is crying a lot.
It happens
It's okay Sax. Like Dodgers games these days, grades don't matter!
Saxy's been watching the end of Field of Dreams on a loop
Bruce Bochy, wash your nose hair!
I can see Brandon Allen hitting big homers against us next year
Matt Williams can go to hell
Timmeh getting his salami squeezed by Mike Reilly
Snizakes have something cooking, first and third, 1 out
OT @Fred's Brim today I realized your Manny loves Jay!
I know you understand.
Aw. I was enjoying the FB show.
@Karina - and Jay loves Manny, but he has a funny way of showing it sometimes :)
Has Timmeh washed his hair yet?
was Ian Kennedy one of the stiffs that came over in the EJax trade?
Timmeh will single-handedly cure cancer before he washes that mono-dred he calls his hair
@FB - Yes
Edgar Renteria backing away from the pressure yet again
imagine how terrible Uribe would be if he was a Dodger. Ach i would hate him so much
Pads on the board.
pants on the ground
Lookin like a fool with your pants on tha ground!
that was not a Steve Lyons reference
…or was it?
Don't look now but there's a hideous picture of Timmeh on the MLB.com site's top story.
I heard that Timmy is enrolled at Chico State for the spring semester
Looking at fantasy football for upcoming weekend. MLASF has Peyton Hillis against my D-Mac. I'm totally split on this one...I rock a D-Mac Razorback jersey on Saturdays when my beloved Hawgs play, but on the other hand Hillis is a fellow alum from my Conway High School Wampus Cats. What's a girl to do??? *clutches pearls*
"enrolled at Chico State" = 4:20, no?
*Googles Wampus Cats*
holy jebus that's terrifying
DB, do you know this guy?
yeah, just playing on the reputation of the school
and the Timmeh
@FB
Wait, which guy? Link was just for an entire assortment of Conway stuff. For the record, I went to Hendrix College there, not that baptist shite.

That six-legged swamp cat thing is some chilling shit.

Pod Rays 2-nil - bottom 4th

Pat Burrell is a disgrace to the Patricks of the world.
One of the reasons Burrell exists, is to torture Dodgers fans.
Racking Burrell.
Hate you!
Facking, that is. Misspelling intentional misspellings is quite a talent.
Racking tipos.
Tipos arr a reel motherracker.
Jon Miller just called OPS "awps."
I hate Jon Miller.
knofed in the robs.
Go Argonauts of GGHS.
I don't have high school pride =(.
I'm watching the Dodger game. Matt Kemp just missed a play in the outfield in the bottom of the 2nd inning.
At least it gets better Mr. F!
Yay Pods, I guess.
I'm looking forward to it!
Stupid D-bags can't beat the stupider giants.
Balls.
The Padres won, 3-0. That's good.
The Giants are winning, 3-1. That's bad.
Oh well. Kemp is about to hit his grand slam!
The tiebreaker is off the table, then.
scratch that, the giants won.
two game lead with four to play, each
tiebreaker could still be on the table, right?
giants win and padres lose tomorrow
then padres sweep
we're all even, right?
Tiebreaker is still on the table. It requires a Giants win and a Padres loss tomorrow, followed by a Padres sweep in SF.
I type slower than Sax.
The Dodgers get their little bit of light in the 10th inning: Manny, in a long list of players tainted by PED use.
What saddens me more than anything else that the Dodgers have been so unimportant in the last 16 years.
*else is that
You're right, I forgot they were both playing tomorrow. No travel day.
Just caught a little bit of the Tenth Inning.
Man, looking back, the Bartman thing was seriously overblown. He didn't give up 8 runs.
Nice avatar, MR.LASF.
In fact, I'd go so far as to say that our own King James Loney did greater damage to the Cubs' World Series hopes than Bartman ever did.
The real crusher was Alou's reaction which drew attention to Bartman in the first place. I think none of the this stuff happens if Moises doesn't get so damn pissed.
Josh S: Agreed. KJL stepped on their throat in 2008 Game 1.
DAMN YOU TO HELL, EXTRANEOUS "THE"
BOBBY'S ON LOLA!!!!!
@MLASF: It took me a little bit, but I finally deciphered that comment.
Pat
Fucking
Burrell
I said this earlier about Juan Uribe but it goes double for Pat Fucking Burrell: imagine how terrible he would be if he was a Dodger. He would suck something fierce. Like Juan Encarnacion-as-a-Dodger terrible
