Ethier looks like he has so much fun out there. Can he speak Spanish? Does he with Manny?
11 straight. This feels special.
if weaver gets a win tomorrow, then the season really IS special.
Oh, and PHI 6, STL 1.
I like the Bo Derek and Smithereens references. Anything in mind for #12?
Los Angeles Dodgers: best record in baseball
who've thought that? almost everyone called for "first place on the weak NL West", not the best record, of course they have played most of their games with division rivals, but i can take it.
Manny Mota number is 11 too.
Terry Gilliam's Twelve Monkeys?
Caligula was born in 12 AD.
Dr. Geek -Caligula, huh? I can't imagine what picture could be used.
Jeff Kent wore #12
all we have to do is beat the west to get to the playoffs, its not our fault were in a crappy division.
Thought 11 was going to be a Spinal Tap reference. Smithereens - nice choice.
Tomorrow night...
12 Monkeys?
2012?
Ocean's 12?
12 Angry Men?
12 Chairs?
12 O'Clock High?
So many choices.
Penos - I could imagine the Caligula picture :-)
Don't forget "Dirty Dozen"
I must say, "A Girl Like You" is a guilty pleasure of mine, so much so that my roommates are probably read to kill me if I play it in my room for the millionth time. Completely random, but I would love it if the Dodgers were to play that song during the eighth inning like the Red Sox do with "Sweet Caroline."
Love the Smithereens, even if they peaked with that album.
Spinal Tap seemed a bit obvious.
What is even better is that Martin and Kemp appear to have snapped out of it
An even betterer part is that performance from Stults. I was expecting this game to be played in the double digits.
@karina - I believe the correct spelling is "who'd've". And yes, the schedule in the second part of May is much scarier. Glad we have a buffer built up.
