Who needs a gnome? Manny Ramirez and Russell Martin have worked out a bat ritual, as shown during yesterday's game:
For Saturday's game the Fox network put a microphone on Martin, who had the day off. Martin said something to Manny to the effect of, You finally hit a home run because I touched your bat and gave it magical powers. Then yesterday we get Manny & Russell's Magical Bat Juju Generator. Baseball players superstitious? Who knew?
