Or is it life on the road? Whatever the case, the Dodgers reverted to their human form tonight, stranding 25 (!) (aggregate) runners and losing to tomato can Russ Ortiz (Russ Ortiz!). Clayton Kershaw only lasted 4 1/3 innings, allowing 6 ER on 8 hits, striking out three and walking two. Despite a valiant bases-loaded rally in the top of the ninth, the Dodgers' winning streak ends at eight.

Ugg. That ninth inning hit by Manny looked pretty good. Would have been amazing if he hit it out.
thats why you never make light of an opponent.
(arm falls off)
In the major league or the Little League!
in all aspects of life.
nobody watched arrested development? Thats what the (arm falls off) part was for.
Wolf vs Oswalt tomorrow.
Nic, do you mean (hand falls off)?
no, buster bluth was missing a hand. J. Walter Weatherman was the guy who George Bluth Sr. would use to teach the kids lessons, usually ending in his fake arm falling off. i think buster may have used his fake hand to teach someone a lesson in the later seasons. i really miss that show.
Right, gotcha.
(arm falls off)
(kids screaming)
Great stuff.
Mitch Hurwitz (AD creator) has a new animated series on Fox. The first episode wasn't bad.
Nic j, I got the AD reference. I miss that show, too...
Speaking of arrested development, why is Matt Kemp batting seventh again? And ending the game in the on deck circle?
Orel, I assume the 25 LOB is the sum of all the players' LOB? And the team LOB is much less (Or we left the bases loaded in at least seven of the nine innings)?
It was Fanerman, I tell you.
He Jinxed the Dodgers.
I think he needs to sit in the corner for five minutes.
