Just how many CFers make that catch and throw? Juan Pierre sure as hell couldn't have done it.
Matt Kemp gets better jumps than a kangaroo on a trampoline!
..better jumps than a frog on a hot plate
Alireza, Juan Pierre's thrown ball from centerfield is, as of this post, still en route to first base.
is it the new contacts perhaps?

"is it the new contacts perhaps?"
Perhaps, though I think the big thing the contacts have helped is his pitch recognition. Anyone else noticed how many more inside sliders in the dirt he is taking?
FB, HLACK: Bravo!
Alireza: Maybe Kemp has been doing yoga with Russell.
Russell needs to start doing Tai Bo or something, get a little punch in his bat.
"Maybe Kemp has been doing yoga with Russell."
I thought that was reserved for Marikym?
"Russell needs to start doing Tai Bo or something, get a little punch in his bat."
Had plenty of punch this spring. That may be part of the problem. When Russell starts trying to hit homers, he gets an uppercut in his swing that leads to a lot of GB outs. Also, he seems to actually be TOO patient this year. He is far too good a contact hitter to be taking some of the pitches he has.
