I'm in a bizarro league. The object is to build the worst team possible. Russ Ortiz is an ace in such a league. That's the only logical reason there should be for anyone to draft him.
It either has to be a worst team league or the deepest fantasy league ever that has Russ Ortiz on a roster. Either that, or someone was under a rock for the last 8 years.
Its the all Russell League.
Russ Martin, Russ Ortiz, Russ Springer, Russ Branyan...
It's called a handicap.
Amanda's right -- BPro has an annual contest to build the worst possible fantasy team. This is harder than you would think (catchers probably notwithstanding) but for years, Darin Erstad used to be a player you wanted to get on your team because (a) he basically sucked, and (b) Mike Scioscia would give him far too many at-bats.
Now I am sure people in this league drool over the fact that Eckstein is hitting in the two hole for the Padres....plus I am sure he has multiple position eligibility

Eckstein is playing exclusively second base.
