Game 10 Thread: April 16 vs. Giants, 7p

Eric Stults (1-0, 1.69) vs. Barry Zito (0-1, 9.00).

COMMENTS: Four wins in a row? One series tie and two series wins against NL West opponents? Tied for first place? Yeah, we'll take it.

Tonight brings us the battle of the lefties, with Stults looking to continue his unheralded goodness while Zito attempts to relive some of his glory days at Dodger Stadium, where he's 3-1 with a 2.73 ERA.

Barry Zito was a big baseball player
Back in Oaktown
He could throw that curveball by them
Make their legs buckle down boy
Saw him the other night in the NL West
We were walking off, he was walking out
Came back the next night 'gainst Stults threw a few curves
But all he kept talking about...

Dusto_Magnifico said...

Bellysario goes one more inning and he gets the save... I'd like to see him in there for one more.

Orel, check under your front door mat.

Predicted winner: LA (99%)

Steve Sax said...

Dusto, Loretta batted for Belisario, so he's gone unless there was a double switch I missed.

Loretta singled to first to leadoff the eighth. Raffy (.250) at the plate.

Dusto_Magnifico said...

Meintchiavitchazzz with a double and Loretta with a single.

Game-ending GIDP! Even OhMan gets a lucky break in this series.

7-2 Final. Dodgers stay in first place, keeping pace with the Padres. Dodgers sweep the Giants and now have five in a row.

See you at the Stadium tomorrow, peeps!
