Hall of Famer Duke Snider's accomplishments are legendary. An eight-time All-Star, he hit more home runs in the 1950s than any other player. He led the Dodgers to two World Series championships, one each in Brooklyn and Los Angeles. And to this day, he is still regarded as one of the best center fielders of all time. Duke was a key member of the legendary "Boys of Summer," and he will be greatly missed. On behalf of Major League Baseball, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fans of the Duke of Flatbush.
