Post-Game 85 Thread: Kershaw Goes Into The All-Star Break Rolling

DODGERS 3, CUBBIES 2

Clayton Kershaw follows the recent trend of Dodger starting pitching, reacting to knowledge of a depleted bullpen by going deep into the game. Kershaw is now 9-4 following an eight-inning, 12 K performance on which he gave up only two ER. James Loney picked up an early RBI single in the first and Rafael Furcal added a two-run HR in the seventh to take this game, the first of four against the Cubs. Dodgers keep pace with the Rockies, in second place and three back of the Padres.

I liked this win. It felt good. Let's string a few together now before the break.
