I'm looking forward to watching the game tomorrow, which means there is a 99% chance that they will lose!

Sorry guys.

Well Haren is still in but just gave up a dinger to Big Papi and is losing. FB how is your stepped up Angels hate regimen going?

Kyle Baker said...

Haren just got HBP and had to be taken out in the 5th. Good work, FB!

The Big A is a great experience for all Red Sox fans.

Red Stripe light??? Isn't that repetitive?

rbnlaw said...

As my wife said, seeing Haren take it on the arm: "Should've kept his arm down, would've hit him in the ribs."

See, she's always a bright-side thinker.

Fuckin Giants fans cheating and snagging a ball over the fence. Call interference Blue!!

Paul said...

Fuck. Two on no outs. Come on Fish!

@Paul

That's weird you said that re Red Stripe light because I'm drinking a Red Stripe (non-light) as I type this. The big jug they sell in supermarkets. I like it on a summer night with the baseball game on and the back door open. Not the best beer, but passable lager for such an occasion. Plus, the bottle looks like an old medicine bottle, which seems appropriate.

Watching BoSox v Angels. Man I want the Angels to lose so bad. Pulling out all my spells, jinxes, and Noonans.

Giants lose! I gotta say it was a good day.

Kyle Baker said...

Fiiiiiiiiiiiiish!!!!!!!!!

Love Derek Fisher.

Heh. I meant:

Marlins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love me some red stripe on a summer day but red stripe light seems like it would be a bit thin.

Of course for scientific and educational purposes I might have to try one. It better have great intangibles.

@Paul

I heard it comes in tangerine flavor.

West Coast is the best coast! Dodgers time to
make a run!!

Enjoying a niiiice Viognier/Grenache Blanc/Roussanne blend. I was suppose to save it for the fall but fuck it we don't have a fall around here anyways.

*West Coast*

That is an interesting blend, there, Paul. Very intriguing. Have a web link?

The Nadia white - think white flowers, orange blossoms, star jasmine, gardenia buds. These drench the acid note in this wine, resulting in a crispness that is tempered by a honeyed beam of flavor. While many wines are meant to pair with food, the Nadia white can be shared spontaneously, on its own, without a meal.

Sorry couldn't do the tiny URL thing. Workin from the iPhone right now. Not getting
much done because of it.

I want a wine writer to build up GAARP. That would be funny.

Kyle Baker said...

GAARP totally lacking maple notes.

Kyle Baker said...

I'm very much into drinking non-meal wine, as you may have noted, Paul.

Paul said...

I feel you Dusty. When I get a case or conference down south again we have to meet up. Enjoy a few "meals"

I find it so satisfying that Haren makes the comment that he couldn't even remember when he won his last game with the Dbacks and he gets tagged with a big fat L on his first Angels start. He got tagged by the ball too.

I haven't had a Red Stripe since a grad school trip to Jamaica (honestly). Agreed, it's light enough as it is...

@DB I was unknowingly working my magic last night from a Flaming Lips show, but I'll take full credit. 6 beers (Blue Moons in a can (!) and a Bud Light tallboy given to me to "get rid of" while waiting in line) and some pencil shavings seemed to be a good combination
