As we close out another World Cup Finals, I thought a Game Thread for the championship game is only appropriate. Spain vs the Netherlands. Who will be crowned the new first-time champ? Will Spain follow its Euro championship with an even bigger prize? Will the Dutch take down the big dog once again? Will this thread reach 10 comments?

Mr C, we were a disaster when rooting for teams on this World Cup.
That was the deserved result. Unfortunately for NED, the game where they had their mental lapse was the final.
This sucks, the Netherlands were a better team than Spain on this World Cup.
My picks were almost all spot on but my rooting was almost 100% fail.

Well deserved win for the girly hairbands. Dutch had no gameplan but to hack and dive. Spain's gameplan was to shoot and dive, which won out on the day.
