Miller has to wear long sleeves when he pitches to cover his arms which, in turn, are covered with tattoos.

No truth to the rumor of Ronaldhino coming to the Galaxy. Wondered where they'd put him anyway.

So, the bullpen is now:

Broxton (closer)
Kuo (set-up)
Weaver (long man)
Taschner (LOOGY)
Schlichting (as needed)
McDonald (as needed)
Sherrill (mop up)
Jansen (blogger darling)
Monasterios (spot starter)

I can live with that for now. Taschner's a MASSIVE question mark, and one of Jansen, McDonald and Schlichting needs to step up and take the load off of Kuo, but this is definitely workable.

Would someone please explain why obtaining Dan Haren is a good move for any team needing a SP? Forget contract stuff, just...why do they think he's any good? The guy has been mediocre at best. Unless they want him to hit, I guess. If he goes to Yankees, wouldn't it be Javy Vasquez all over again?

Haren has been mediocre this year, but over the three years before this one, he's got a combined ERA+ of 141. He can be very good.
