I noted that Coletti comment this morning. It clearly and undisputably falls into the "No shit, Sherlock" category.
But hey, good thing it's early Spring training and we can make arrangments to improve the pitchi....oh.
And that's why they pay Ned the big bucks. Not a damn thing gets by him.
Roy Halladay got by him.
So did Randy Wolf.
I love GM bashing as much as the next person but the lack of pitching depth and a payroll smaller than the Twins has to do more with our lovely owners than Ned and his attempt to find a low price.
They are no better than people on the Jerry Springer show, they just have more money.
Totally; it's about purchasing power and Ned doesn't hold the checkbook. I guess it was just a bit inslting this morning to hear him come to the public realization that our pitching, well, kinda sucks. Logan White I ain't, but I knew that 6 weeks ago.
At least the pitching staff didn't get off to a fluke start only to crash and burn a month from now. This makes it pretty clear that there was a problem, everyone knew about it and nothing was done.
