Dodger pitchers & catchers report to Camelback Ranch today!
- From @kengurnick:
Manny Ramirez, who didn't sign until March last year, just checked in at the Dodgers Camelback Ranch-Glendale complex.
Reading that makes me, like, tingly all over.
- Like camps past, spring to be busy for LA (Dodgers.com)
Dibs on the top bunk!
- Are You Bringing Camelback? (SoSG)
Yes, I just linked to myself. Deal with it.

I got all tingly when I saw a bunch of these billboards yesterday. (Sorry I couldn't get a decent pic. It says "The rivalry renewed").
I've been seeing those billboards all over the place.
We had a rivalry with the Yankees? Who knew?
Well, we did - when we were going to WS and playing against Yanke-mes. But that's, uh, been awhile.
Nonetheless, it's great to see the bus stop billboards with the LA and NY logos advertising the games.
The glove on the plate, as excited as it makes me, barely beats my excitement in opening the browser to see Homer gracing the first post. It's gonna be a good day.
Oh my god why don't I just cut and paste from a blog called Inside the Dodgers and shamelessly cross post all their information in this comment thread:
Per Josh Rawitch:
"They're rolling in left and right at Camelback today to take physicals and get ready for tomorrow's first workout.
Among the position players I've seen here are a beardless Casey Blake, Jason Repko, Xavier Paul, Jamey Carroll, Ivan DeJesus and Chin-lung Hu, among others.
Eric Gagne arrived and is wearing his familiar #38. Ramon Troncoso gave us his uni and will wear #67 for the spring.
I'm sure there will be lots of stories on the front of the site from Ken Gurnick throughout the day, so keep checking dodgers.com for all the latest news."
This shit is ON in a fashion not dissimilar from the classic video arcade game, Donkey Kong.
Sorry for the schoolboy excitement this morning, but I was inspired by the imagery in this morning's SoSG post.
Dusty out...for awhile but not long.
This is MY friggin' town.
Nuh-uh, it's my town.
This town's not big enough for both of us, MLASF! *draws six-shooter*
Being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
I should have armed myself.
As glad as I am to see billboards, do they really have to feature another team?
Gotta love it when our teams just feed the L.A. out-of-towners bandwagon mentality.
This is My Town, too (not the Yanks')
I am entitled to half of this town, and if you don't hand it over, you'll be hearing from my lawyer.
I just did my happy dance. And that is no way weird.
@Dusty - I'm going to be stopping by Vons today for some sunny Seattle afternoon drinks. I'll try to snap another picture of the bar if I can and I'll try to get more scotch in the shot for you. Don't hold me to it though, the sun in the sky and the Dodgers in spring training will distract me from other priorities.
Heh..."I'll try to get more Scotch in the shot." Looking forward. Until then I'll enjoy the Old Crow that's in the front row.
@Dusty - As promised, new booze photos...
