I want to know what currently-unsigned player is going to occupy that spot left of Bills.
Johnny Damon? We could always use a 17th outfielder (with no arm--just like JP!)!
Pedro Martinez? Return of the prodigal son?
John Smoltz? Continuing our proud tradition of signing storied Braves before they retire?
Sign Kris Benson and then hang a picture of his wife there.
It was going to be Russ Ortiz, but it kept bursting into flames before they could stick it up there.
That photo shall be...Carlos Monasterios.
Beimel.
@Josh S, I was just thinking about Joey Beimel. Come on, let's bring back McSlicey!
I don't know about the rainbow harbinger, but the skies look pretty cloudy from here on in.
If they sign Joe Beimel the barrel will just slip further into my mouth.
Semi-related: I took this shot of same rainbow(s!) from my office window:

Giant green screen: our 5th SP
@Dusty, do you work/live near Jon Weisman?
I shot mine from Lafayette Park at 6th and Commonwealth toward downtown. The two rainbows are not a camera screw-up or reflection; there were really two there. Well, as real as rainbows can actually be...
It looked from my vantage point that the rainbow ended right over Cole's, so I took that as a sign I needed to go snag a French dip and a sazerac from there.
