Happy February! Know what's happening 16 days from now? That's right: Dodger pitchers and catchers report to Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona. And if you're thinking of planning a spring training trip to visit the Dodgers (and White Sox), here are some links from Camelback's inaugural year to get you started:

The wife and I went for a week last year and had a blast. Taking the kids with us this year and really, plan to go every year!
I was wanting to get out there for the 1st time, but alas I think my sojourn to Wrigley when Dodgers play there is May is my big basball trip this season.
That trip is on the top of my to-do list, Dusty.
I'm hoping the team does another group thing there like they did last year. I don't want to do the old people tour group thing but it would be good to buy tickets and sit with a Dodgers contingent.
Or to just get hammered in the Cubby Bear down the street and watch on flat screen tellies while commenting in the SoSG GT.
I hope you're there for the whole homestand. Then you can do both!
DB, could you pick me up a bottle of Malort while you're in Chicago?
Dusty,
You will have a great time! I went last year and it made Wrigley my 2nd favorite place to watch a game.
Chicago is a great city.
If I wasn't heading to Boston to watch the Sox and Dodgers this year I would head back to Wrigley in a heartbeat.
I will be at Camelback on St. Pat's day to watch the green dodgers. Should be a great time!
@Orel- Yep, whole homestand.
@FB- Where should I drop it off?
@Paul- I've actually seen my second most games in a stadium at Wrigely after Chavez Ravine of course. Growing up and in college it was the nearest place that I didn't loathe (I'm looking at you, St. Louis) to catch a game. Wrigey is a fine, fine place despite its lack of, er, cleanliness and amenities. And day games there....man.
A trip to Camelback will most likely be difficult with the baby, but as soon as he's old enough to enjoy it...family road trip!!
Josh- So you're stuck for the next 6 or 7 years? This seriously bolsters my argument for not having kids.
Are you kidding, DB? I'm taking him as soon as we can have a conversation. Which, at the rate he's already babbling, could be next season!
I would really like to go out to Camelback. Seems like the most conducive place to bump into Vin Scully.
@db
Lack of cleanliness and amenities at Wrigley is a feature, not a flaw.
@paul
I'm most likely doing the Fenway road trip this year, as well.
Mr.C.
We should meet up in bean town. First two rounds are on me....just don't go ordering a 20 plus year old scotch.
