I'm glad he's out of the NL West, but I always thought that was a dumb move on Colorado's part. If they kept him, he'd be producing and helping his team win, as his numbers at home were God-like. rbnlaw said...: OK, release Mota. I know Glavine is another lefty, but if he got his control back after surgery he could be a spot 5th starter in case Uncle Miltie goes on a gopherball binge. Glavine could also fill the role the Dodgers blew by letting Maddux sign on with the Pods as a consultant.
300+ wins says he knows a thing or two.

I think the Dodgers could pick him up on the cheap and use him to get Kershaw, Bills, Stults, and even J-Mac on an even keel.
