WORST TIE-IN EVER

I'd write about a comparable baseball tie-in, but I can't think of any as mind numbingly awful as the Dunkin' Donuts / Mets crossover. Special prize to anyone who can sit through all 3:40!

They are to coffee over there what In-N-Out is to burgers out here. Dunkin' Donuts coffee is way too good to have advertising that bad. Or maybe they're just so good they really don't need good advertising. Imagine twice as much coffee for about 1/2 the price as Starbucks. One of the few things I miss about New England.

Joe: I agree with you, I miss 'em too! Dunkin is planning on expanding to the west (they ahve already made great moves internationally) and it's too bad they're privately held or I'd be in on that stock.

The Delino is also from the East Coast. And the second after getting off the red eye, I pick up the rental car and make a BEELINE to Dunkin Donuts for some coffee. But after that ad - I don't know if I can do it. Too many memories.

right on. I have a relative that ships out the 5lb. bag of coffee every so often but it's just not the same. Glad to know now there are some Dodger fans with knowledge of both coasts.

I can't take the video after the part where the rookie, wistful look in his eyes, rubs the bald guy's head.

There may not be a doughnut hole in "creepy," but there sure are a lot in "poorly thought out concept."

Ranks up there with Intel's ill-fated "Who Stoled the Processor" campaign.
