Post-Game 1 Thread: April 2 @ Brewers

BREWERS 7, DODGERS 1

What I love about baseball season: the baseball.

What I hate about baseball season: waiting until the next game after your team loses.

I'll be very impressed if you can come up with an appropriate but unique picture after every loss

Because good pictures are hard to find or because you think the Dodgers are going to lose a lot of games?

Keep the pictures clean, though.

In other news, this should positively be the last time that Derek Lowe is our opening day starter. 2005, he gave up three runs (two earned) in seven innings, but lost. 2006, he gave up eight runs (seven earned) in five innings, and lost. And this year, he gave up six earned runs and didn't even make it to the fifth.

On the other side, it was nice to see the Dodger lineup forget to show up. Did anyone get the memo that it was opening day? Apparently, not Juan Pierre (0-for-4, one K), Russell Martin (0-for-4), or Nomar/Luis Gonzalez/Betemit (all 0-for-3).

As a team, the Dodgers are 2-for-29 or .069.

Versus the Brewers.

Nice.

Orel, let me just say that I'll be less impressed if you find a picture after every win.

Think the caption should read... "Oh SHHHEEEETTTTSSS!" Man, only two hits more than I got this afternoon. Guess we knew the Dodgers needed some guys who could hit a round ball with a round bat. I just thought some of them would get on bag by accident.

If I had my choice, I'd want to use this picture after we win the World Series.
