Post-Game 50 Thread: Isotopes Season-Ticket Sales About to Explode

BREWERS 6, DODGERS 3

The gods of baseball have frowned upon Matt Kemp.
—Vin Scully
Matt Kemp re-aggravated his left hamstring. MRI tomorrow. Clayton Kershaw gave up five earned over 5 2/3 innings. Not himself. James Loney continues to be terrible. Dodgers hit into four double plays. Lose three straight for the first time this season. In position to be swept tomorrow.

Tough road trip and interleague play await.

Well, at least the Kings won.

DFA Loney and Kennedy. Make do with Hairston/Sellers at third and Rivera/Sands/Van Slyke at first.

I doubt they'd actually DFA Loney, but maybe SVS deserves a week of starts or so.

Great. @ramonashelburne: "Kemp says his hammy feels worse than the first time and anticipates another DL stint. "It's nobody's fault, this is just what happens i ..."

what kind of ritual can we offer to the baseball gods so Matt Kemp gets well soon?

I offered him for a Stanley Cup.

Interesting to see what the club is going to do. We need to make a trade of some sort now. Can't have Kemp out for a month with just Ethier the only threat in the lineup.

No bats available. No trade chips.

Juan Rivera went 0-3 in his A ball rehab assignment, so there is that.

Should have traded for Dunn while we had the chance.

Maybe we can chalk this up to the dodgers are just unable to beat the brewers this year.

I say we offer up Smonk as a sacrifice to the baseball gods. Burn him at the stake.

Don't go blaming the Smonkster now.
