Both Billingsley and Norris threw several dogs' lives full of pitches tonight, each in his own pathetic way. In the end, neither factored. Tonight, Bills was the fire hydrant to so many other Astros dogs. Yet, we found a way through early thanks to Tony Gwynn and Andre Ethier. Then, after giving up a late 3-2 lead, things looked like dog shit on a pair of new sneakers. But AJ Ellis stepped up in the bottom of the 9th and collared a 3-run home run to collar the victory and continue his compelling narrative for inclusion in the All Star Game. Good boy, AJ! Good boy!
Dodgers are still the only team in MLB without three losses in a row. Tummy rubs for everyone!
