The junior Hairston was 5-for-5 today, and the junior Gwynn picked up a matching pair of RBIs and stolen bases. The not-so-junior Matt Treanor contributed with a solo shot in the fourth inning, and the get-off-my-lawn-junior Bobby Abreu walked in a run in the seventh to round out the scoring.
While the Junior Varsity was getting things done at the plate, Chris Capuano continued to dominate, notching his 7th win to lead the team and lowering his ERA to 2.14 on the season.
