Post-Game 45 Thread: Lucas Forces Dodgers...to Blow

ASTROS 3, DODGERS 1

Playing a sub-.500 team with a struggling pitcher? Clayton Kershaw starting? No problem, right? Wrong. Lucas Harrell held the Dodgers to five harmless singles over 7 1/3 innings while Kershaw allowed a two-run home run to J.D. Martinez in the third inning.

The Dodgers threatened when the Astros walked in a run in the eighth — even their opponents had to do their scoring for them — but the Dodgers failed to capitalize beyond that.

Dodgers drop to an almost-mortal 30-15. At least Timmy Lincecum and the Giants lost, so the Dodgers lead them by 6.5 games. 7PM game tomorrow as the Dodgers try to avoid their first three-game losing streak of the season.
