Hiroki Kuroda (6-4, 3.10) vs. Clay Buchholz (9-4, 2.67).

COMMENTS: Tony Jackson is right: The Dodgers just can't seem to hang with the big boys in the AL. If they can't beat the young (Felix Doubront) or the old (Tim Wakefield), what chance do they have against Clay Buchholz? Facing a sweep without even having faced Jon Lester or John Lackey reminds you how tough it is in the AL East. But hey, we only have to win our division to make the playoffs, so one step at a time. Salvaging a game in Boston would be a good start, but the odds look kinda crappy (even if Accuscore is mysteriously giving the Red Sox only a 51% chance to win). And if anyone on the Dodgers' staff can handle the pressure of Fenway, it's Kuroda. Another nationally televised game, boys — do us proud!

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 213 of 213It's all in the past now. Tampa Bay might be slumping but no one denies they have one of the best (if not THE) best rotation of the majors and the Padres might (and will) have problems with that.
Also, the Dodgers have a day off and they can refresh to be the winning team of late.
Night, ladies and gents.
Still wished I could have went but this makes it a little easier to deal with.
Dodgers in the eye of the June storm now.
Helps: Watching DVR'd Jimmy Kimmel show w Lakers on it. When DFish walked on stage carrying the trophy, I felt a lot better about tonight.
Wimbledon starts in a few hours, that cheers me up.
I just remembered Mark Madsen dancing then I felt sad again.
I refuse to throw the panic switch right about now.
I still love karina's optimism and DB's (now KB's) snarkiness. We'll be fine as soon as the Pod Rays lose a few to the real Rays.
That sweep of the Red Birds early this month looms large right about now.
I am hoping for two out of three in the Orange Ochards and then we come home to play what has to be the last three games at Dodgers Stadium...EVER!!!
Hey I will be there on Friday with not ticket packages up my sleeve.
hmmmmm better bring my ear plugs with all the high pitch screaming when Jeter is announced.
I had too good a Father's Day to let a little thing like getting swept ruin my mood.
@Paul
Eh?
You sayin' you're going to be around soon? Keep me posted and drop me a line if you are in the vicinity.
Wine to be drunk.
I like your attitude, Josh.
