Delwyn Young homers off him tonight. Book it.
I'm going to the Strasburg game because my buddy has tickets. I think it might be a bit too hyped up, but I hope I eat my words.
This is the first sold-out baseball game I've been to in years ... maybe my whole life.
I've got Strasburg in my fantasy team, so I'm sure as hell rooting for him.
The Nats game is also the MLB At Bat free game of the day.
Best wishes to the little girl.
Are we sure the Think Cure Auction starts today? I went to that link and couldn't find any info on how or where to make a bid.
@Q7:
"Return to dodgers.com/thinkcureweekend starting June 8th for more information on how you can give including a text-to-donate program, an online auction for exclusive Dodger experiences or over the phone!"
So, I guess they just haven't refreshed the page yet.
Ahh. I'll just have to keep an eye on it.
Here's what I'm hoping:
Strasburg does well, stays in the rotation, and faces Clayton Kershaw at Dodger Stadium on August 6th.
Nothing would be funnier to me than an "80's Night" headlined by two pitchers born in 1988.
Damnit. My "Sickness Alert Threat Level" is at orange (it uses the same scale as the Homeland Security Terror Alert thing they use at airports) =(
This morning on MLB-XM radio, I heard the following report re last night's game: "Dodgers get by St. Louis despite 2 home runs from Ryan Ludwick."
We fucking won 12 to 4! How is that getting by??? Joyce DeWitt had a career game (HR, 5 RBI) and a highlight reel catch in the 9th.
EAST COAST MEDIA BIAS
ps- Go Nats!
Dusty: Weren't you watching? Ludwick hit two 5-run homers.
Josh
Can I take you go Vegas?
Nice call!!
