There's no shame in getting boat-raced (again) by Ubragg, if it comes to that, but I'm not going out like Shane Mosley.
Having a hard time convincing the missus that all the pain and grief were worth 50 points. At some point she's going to make me decide between her or the blog...

Did you try explaining that your social responsibilities as a regular commenter here require your participation in SoSG activities? Or point out that it's not as time-consuming as hitting F5 for two straight weeks?

Hitting F5 for two straight weeks...exactly. That's two weeks of our lives we'll never get back.
Also include time spent taking the iPhone to the can and refreshing there. Ad at restaurants and family gatherings.

so, no particiopation points? i guess I don't fully understand the scoring method. I was like maybe halfway done... with the first set of clues.
Dusto, you should definitely get participation points. You commented in the puzzle thread and sent me (and the Sons, if my Gmail isn't lying to me) your progress.
Note to self: If ever again given the chance to make a puzzle, try to schedule it after three weeks of good scores.
