Watching Fox Saturday Baseball featuring - wait for it - Yankees v Red Sox.
Pedroia up to bat. Joe Buck says that Pedroia and Ethier are the best of friends from Az St. Interesting...wasn't aware of that. Ok so far. Then Buck goes on to say how Pedroia is big on talking up Dre and says how glad he is Dre is leading the NL Triple Crown race, then goes on to say how he didn't realize that Ethier was doing so well. It's not like we live in 1952, and you might have to wait a couple fo days for your local paper to print the box score of a game that might inform your knowledge of another player on another team that doesn't involve the Al or NL East! And it's not like there aren't 14 statisticians on the broadcast team who can't feed that information to you even if you aren't curious or otherwise inclined to take a peek at non-Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies, or Mets news!
