Thank you. This is great. Keep these coming.
Every game when Vin tells a story on camera, my wife and kids know to BE QUIET during this time and listen. Often, the timing would coincide with us eating dinner or the kids doing homework at the kitchen table. Man, I've always loved those spots.
And he often ends the anecdote with something to tie it back to the game at hand. "And now let's see how this one turns out..."
Maybe there should be a permalink along the sidebar for this Vinny treasure trove.
This is an awesome feature, thanks!
On a slightly related note, I've picked up a couple of old records from the '60s featuring Vin's golden voice. A buddy of mine has one of those mp3-converter turntables, so I hope to get them up on youtube soon.
For some reason when I was scanning the headlines and saw this I thought it said suppository. Needless to say I was horrified.
Great work!
I was just thinking about wanting to hear the Jackie ice skating story last week.
I got a letter from Vin in the off-season about a book I sent him. As you'd expect, it's charming and witty. It's now in a frame on my wall.
As much as I love the guy, I don't think I'd ever want to meet him. I'd probably just burst into tears and not be able to speak.
We are blessed to have him.
This was my favorite thing on the site last season. Not many people can sound so eloquent in print with their extemporaneous thoughts.
Scully is the greatest.
Awesome feature, Sons!! Perhaps the finest thing on the entire internet!
