Glad to have a relaxing victory...my body needed it today. With a shaky Oliver Perez to face tomorrow, I think we have a good chance to lay another whomping on them.

Doesn't look like the nats or marlins are gonna help us out at all.

I love how John Kruk demands that the umpire apologize to jeter yesterday for a bad call. And calls manny irresponsible and selfish for getting thrown out of the game "arguing" a bad call today.

Apparently the Giants' broadcasters are in a booth by the right field foul pole today. It's weird.

Don't worry, Nic J. As long as Brian Wilson is available tonight, the Marlins still have a shot.

And that Kruk thing is so ridiculous.

Good game tonight - left a lot of guys on, but getting lots of guys on is much better than getting nobody on. Pitching was great although i wish we didn't have to use so many guys for a shutout, especially without Belli. Sat in the field level, right field and had a great view of DeWitt's homer off the Subway sign. I should have gotten a free $5 Footlong for that! The crowd was decent for a tuesday night but they don't have much spark with the injury troubles and recent performances. They did have some good boos for Manny though. Sitting in the upper deck for game 2. We haven't had a 3-game win streak in a while so hopfully we can keep it going vs Oli tomorrow

I'm surprised that the Mets fans would boo Manny, even though the Mets have their own steroid user. And he's not a small-time guy. He's pretty big in the oraganization.

Fred's Brim, thanks for the at-game update! All we heard from Charley and Rick was that the crowd in Citi Field was positively funereal.

That game was a hoot to listen to. Sounded like it was being played in a sound stage. Got to my daughter's scout meeting (at a pizza place, no less) and they didn't have the game on. Explains why I missed the Dewitt trade-bolstering HR.

Oh, Nic, Kruk is more concerned with how much his next meal weighs than he is with making sense.

Oh, so that's what a shocker is.

I missed the Manny ejection and had to watch it later on the DVR. It was complete BS. The ump didn't even see Manny throw anything. He listened to THE FANS tell him that Manny threw something at him then turned and ejected him. It was like the old blind ref gimmick in pro wrestling where the evil manager places a chair in the ring and points at the good guy, leading to the good guy's disqualification.

Horrible officiating.
