MLB Commissioner Bud Selig earned $14.5M last year, according to Yahoo Sports.
The publication, citing unidentified sources, said Selig received a $6 million base salary, an equal amount in a bonus and the remainder in expenses and personal fees.
Just to put this in perspective, that is $2M more than Jason Schmidt will earn this year. That is $1.5M more than Rafael Furcal will earn this year. That is $3M more than Jeff Kent will earn this year. That is $7M more than Nomar Garciaparra will earn this year.
If that was more than I was earning this year, I would be really pissed. Luckily, thanks to the income off of this blog (even after we split it among all the SoSG staff), I'm giving Selig and his shruggy shoulders a run for his money.

That's more than Demi Moore made for Striptease. Hope he shows as much skin. Um, uh, I mean I hope he shows more skin.
