Post-Game 11 Thread: April 14 vs. Padres

PADRES 7, DODGERS 2

I didn't have the pleasure of catching this game, but is it too early to start worrying about the Dodgers' $47 million investment, Jason Schmidt? Then again, this seemed like a game the Dodgers were destined to lose; Jake "I own L.A." Peavy allowed only three hits over seven innings and the game became a formality after the second inning.

I'm not too hopeful about tomorrow's game, either—the Dodgers don't seem to fare too well on hoopla days (e.g., Opening Day), and not only will tomorrow's Jackie Robinson festivities ensure a day of hoopla (everybody's wearing the same number!), it'll be a nationally televised day of hoopla. Oh yeah, that Chris Young fella's not a bad pitcher either.

Is it worth rethinking the wisdom of the Dodgers signing any more players named Jason?

Hoopla? Derek Lowe kicked the Padres' ass two years ago on JR Day.
