Name nine people who are unlikely to muster any offense against Madison Bumgarner.
Y HAMS? Y NOT?
put your HAMS away
Nice!
Giants get two on in the first inning but UJTD to end it.
Checking in. Do we suck?
SVSSB!
@Gnomes: Yup.
hey, they don't suck…still
Yu Darvish is throwing no-no on the 8th, available at mlb.com
We'll have Schrödinger's suck until TWC gets around to making a deal. They both suck and don't suck until directly observed.
8 2/3!
Hello, lovebirds!
Hi, my dearest!
About sucking, how awful is getting just one out from a no-no?
I am amazed how often Stubbs says "suck" tonight.
We all are, Karina.
Crawford two-run HR. Game over.
how the FUCK! do you walk a .180 hitter, then give up a homer to a guy who can't hit it 200 feet?
FB's surl levels are in the red
We're placing too much pressure on the pitching staff to be perfect. If the bats could score some runs, a two-run deficit wouldn't seem so catastrophic.
Maholm for another inning or so, then the bullpen, League for a good inning, then Perez or maybe Wilson to give up 2 more runs for a 4-0 loss
Maholm broke Belt's thumb. Expect retaliation?
very true, Orel
gotta score a couple of runs at least, even against the best pitchers
@Orel I hope so, let's get some fire sparked
If that's what it takes. I'm willing to sacrifice Crawford or Ethier to the DL.
Okay, this is Candid Camera right? C'mon out Alan Funt. This isn't funny any more.
What's going on? Who got hit?
Ma-hallum plunked Belt on the hand in the second. Broken thumb.
Oh well, thems are the breaks...
if somebody doesn't get nailed now, they never will
I don't take pleasure in guys getting hurt.
But I'm kinda leaning that way, since there's little else to get happy aboutWAITOMGPUIGHOMERED.
Mattingly ejected. Things getting chippy!
Puig was sprinting compared to Barry Bonds HR stroll
BOOOOOOOOOO
Paul, you have a way with words
I'm blacked out of this game. Someone lead me to the beer.
I think Maddy got thrown out so he wouldn't have to watch them lose, either.
League's showing more signs of improvement. So there's that.
could never have seen the backup backup backup catcher hitting into the double play
wow we are boring
But at least we are predictable.
This feels like last year about this time. Things didn't get right until me and FB went out drinking.
Yawn...
The first pitch in the sequence that ended in the Puig homer was a strike while Puig was stepping back from the plate. Looks like he forgot to call for time.
Maybe it pissed him off enough to hit the HR.
Remember, we were something like 30-42 when we pulled off our 42-8 run, coasting to the playoffs.
That would be nice.
