Chris Capuano (9-3, 2.69) vs. Johnny Cueto (9-4, 2.26).
It's the battle of the All-Star snubbees as Chris Capuano takes on Johnny Cueto! Juan Uribe isn't starting tonight (guess that pulled pork sandwich was pretty filling), but for the Reds, Zack Cozart (not to be confused with this guy) is starting despite being diagnosed with a mild concussion after being hit on the head by Chad Billingsley last night. Oh, and Joey Votto is starting too. So that's just great.

Coffey down, Tolleson up.
@dylano: "Ethier felt something on one particular swing when hitting in the cage today. Won't take BP on the field."
Great.
@WSH 5, SF 0, top 4
FLA 11, MIL 11, top 9
Totally worked out, that whole not putting Ethier on the DL thing.
Looks like he'll swap places with Mark Ellis tomorrow and could be available for the first game after the All-Star break? I hope?
The funny thing about Tolleson being "recalled" is that he never left LA in the first place, according to JP Hoornstra.
Probably hopped off the plane when he saw Coffey implode.
RT @JonHeymanCBS: Todd coffey likely needs tommy john elbow surgery. He was placed on the 15-day dl today by #dodgers
That's the end of Coffey Time, I guess.
One less reliever to trade.
Yeah, but one more reliever to trade FOR.
Trading starters for relievers is always such a good idea. Right, James McDonald?

Nomo here at the yard. The SoSG losing streak is going DOWN.
As is an Extreme Loaded Dog.
Epale, Karina! Stick around this time.
What exactly is on an Extreme Loaded Dog?
Me.
Or 99% of SoSG commenters.
I'm glad I changed my phrasing on that question.
Check our Twitters.
That is...extremely loaded.
One more baserunner and the Reds will have the bases extremely loaded.
Capuano up to A BILLION PITCHES this inning.
Cap gets out of it. 23 pitches in the 1st.
hey! the other team didn't score any runs in spite of RISP. I'll take that as improvement.
"Extreme Loaded Dog" was my nickname in high school.
Dee flies out on the second pitch. On the bright side he did not: (1) strike out; (2) bunt.
so, first Reds hitter of the inning reaches first, nothing happens.
I don't mind if the the very same trend continues.
Cap at 30 pitches.
That place has a mighty fine happy hour.
Oh yeah, the game!
Chisox beating Texas 19-2. That's a pants-down spanking.
WSH 9, SF 3, bot 8
I don't like how this game is going.
Well, we're not losing. That in itself is a victory.
Wait.
Don't do it, Orel! Don't get lulled into a false sense of security!
ROJO ARDIENDO
Tuning in late but, with Kennedy batting 5th, this game is in the bag. Past performance guarantees future results, right?
It's scoreless but Cap's throwing too many pitches.
Correlation is causation, absolutely.
Lots of futility tonight.
By saying so, that was bound to happen. It's on me.
Well, we hung in there a while tonight.
Another loss. Blegh.
1-0 Reds. Game over.
At least the Giants lost.
Save us, Desmond Jennings!
See, a normal first basemen would have hit that into the seats.
Luis Cruz: not that good.
How is Luis Cruz not the answer to all our problems? I don't get it.
I wonder how many Extreme Loaded Dog that Nomo has eaten out of frustration.
Ryan Hanigan has the ugliest Gameday pic I can recall.
It's amazing how many people on twitter don't understand the NBA salary cap.
Cueto balk followed by an Abreu RBI!
There's your run, Cap.
@OwensAndrew (LA Times intern): "As it stands now, Kemp is 2-3 with two singles, a walk and a strikeout. #Dodgers"
After a seven-pitch AB, it's always good to swing at the first pitch. WHY, RIVERA?
Tied? What the hell?
Just made sweet, sweet love to Nomo-san on the Loge Level.
He left though, and wouldn't cuddle.
Jesus Colorado, I'll never get used to that windup.
Kennedy Kennedys.
LUIS CRUZ IS THE ANSWER TO ALL OUR PROBLEMS
WOT
Cruz steals home? I gotta see this.
Ah, busted squeeze. Of course. Nice something finally went our way, though.
This puts Elbert in line for the win? Getting ahead of myself.
Winning? What the hell?
3-1 Dodgers here in the bottom of the eighth
I got your extreme loaded dog right here
Van Slyke not looking good on that first pitch
That seventh-inning was sweet
Two and one to Van Slyke
Van Slykie takes the walk, the first walk in the game for the Dodgers
Went outside to fix my sprinklers and miss bottom of seventh. WTF.
Well, I'll be damned.
Neeebs must now fix his sprinklers every night at game time.
Tony Jr looks like he's wearing Tony Sr's pants.
Come on Kenley settle down
What's with the asterisk, neeebs?
The Dodger's haven't had a save opportunity since Anaheim.
Two out walk to hi-C
Thanks, Stubb's!
Nice strike 1 pitch there KJ
Neeebs was caught using PEDs, or PEEEDs
Nice strike 2 pitch there KJ
WE MAKE EXTREMELY LOADED PARTY!!!
Boom! Dodgers win!
Half game back!
Well I did not see this result coming.
WE WIN
won the last 2 of 3!!!
HOT Streak!!!
Ha! That one(')s for Dusty!
Post-game thread up.
I'm not sure how my sandwich ties into the subject of this post.
