The email came to us with the above photo and a subject of "Looking for any baseball memorabilia of Larry Eckenrode," and it provided this information:
Larry Eckenrode played in the Dodgers organization (mostly AA and AAA) in the mid to late 1960s. He did play with Steve Garvey, Ron Cey (who was his travelling roommate), Mike Kekich, Terry McDermott, Timmy Johns, etc. John "Doc" Balginy was also one of his coaches.
I have been looking online for any memorabilia (photos, SGA cards, etc.) of Eckenrode. Please let me know if you know anyone who has any baseball photos, cards, etc. with him in them.
Eckenrode's Baseball-Reference page bears out this minimal information. Any of you memorabilia hounds know where to go from here?

Larry was my uncle. My name is Kent Smith Eckenrode, son of Donald Orville Eckenrode (uncle Larry's brother). Its very cool to have come across this bio of my uncle Larry. I would like to know more. Our family sort of fell apart back in the 80's.
I forgot to mention that I do not have any cards, but I do have a Louisville Slugger with his name engraved. It's awesome.
Wow...that's awesome you ran across this. My name is Ian Jefferson...son of former Red Wings and former Major League the late...Mr. Jesse Jefferson. I ran across this photo hoping to locate some minor league photos of my father such as this picture above. I hope you locate more information...I'm in the same boat as you. I'm mostly trying to locate photos I've never seen before. Good Luck to you in your search.
It looks like this was a while ago but he is my father. This is Brynn Eckenrode. I will check back to see if you are still looking. If so I can get with my mom and see what we can come up with.
I happened to come across this blog when I started searching former Red Wings players after digging up an old photo album. I was an avid fan as a teenager. Your parents were so incredibly nice to myself and two friends. They even had us over for a cookout at the end of the season. I was so saddened to see that your father had passed at such a a young age.
Hello Ian, I have two pictures of your Dad as a Red Wing with Pete Watts. I was a big Red Wings fan as a teenager and went to all the games. I would be happy to send you the pictures.
