Yesterday's PCS had a simple premise that proved delightfully elusive (well, delightful to me, anyway). You were presented with 8 quotes, all from individuals (or groups) generally known by initials. W. H. Auden, I. F. Stone, C. S. Lewis, P. J. O'Rourke, N.W.A., B. F. Skinner, T. E. Lawrence, and A. A. Milne.
Once you had the authors list, if you referred back to the original quotes, the first letter of each quote and quoted match up! If you then arranged the people in the PTIBCWAN order the paragraphs, you got the following, reading down the all-important middle initial for the correct answer!
P J O'ROURKE
T E LAWRENCE
I F STONE
B F SKINNER
C S LEWIS
W H AUDEN
A A MILNE
N W A
Former Dodger Jeff Shaw! Congratulations to BCCSweet, QuadSevens, SoSG Nomo and ubragg for correct solutions! The next puzzle will be from the mind of ubragg, at 7:00 am, on Thursday, August 2.

That is a sweet puzzle Stubbs.
How did I never notice the Angels t-shirt on the Straight Outta Compton cover before?
Seems wrong.
It's a gang thing, not a baseball allegiance thing.
I figured.
And that's Thang, not thing
At ~~~Neeeeeeeebs:
I actually typed "thang" but autocorrect futzed it up.
Just for the record.
Wait, so it's a ging thang?
And that's Ginseng!
With a right,left,right,left you're toofless
I never noticed it either. It's complete serendipity that I gave that spot to Lewis, too.
